Alhamdhulillah, New announcement came from Washington governor’s office and we are allowed to pray outside (maximum 100 person) with following guidelines:
- Wear Masks

- Only first 100 person (first come first serve)
- No prayer in heavy rain

There will be no Taraweeh Salah at Islamic Center of Kent. Please pray at home.
Important announcement – 03/24
As per WA Governor’s announcement on mandatory statewide stay-at-home order and the ban on all gatherings including spiritual gatherings,
Islamic Center of Kent is temporarily closed until further notice.
This includes suspension of ALL activities in the masjid including Jummah prayer, daily congregational prayers and school.
Gates are closed at the masjid at all times until further notice. We will continue to monitor this situation and as new information becomes available, we will provide additional updates. May Allah protect all of us and our families.
Important announcement regarding Jummah prayer 03/20
As you are well aware of the developing situation on the COVID-19 and the regulations by WA Governor and Health Officials, ICK Management in consultation with our Imam has revised the decision and decided to cancel the Jummah congregational prayer at ICK today (03/20).
Community members are encouraged to pray their Jumu’ah Salah at home in Jama’ah (if you have a minimum of four people) or if not, Zuhr.
ICK will be operational Insha’Allah with very limited services as pursuant to the guidelines published by the city, state, and government. We will continue to monitor this situation and as new information becomes available, we will provide additional updates. May Allah protect all of us and our families.
ICK Jumu’ah Announcement -03/13
ICK Management, in consultation with our Imam, has decided to conduct the Jummah congregational prayer as scheduled on 03/13 (Byan at 1:30 pm and salat at 1:45 pm) Insha’Allah.
Health Officer for Public Health – Seattle & King County issued a parallel local Health Officer Order for King County to prohibit gatherings of more than 250 people.
ICK Management advises the following on the Jummah (Friday) day:
- Women and children are not obligated to attend the Jumu’ah prayers and so are encouraged NOT to come to the Masjid. Please pray Duh’r at home instead
- Musullees who are sick with cold & flu and experience the symptom of fever/short breathing are advised NOT to come to the Masjid
- Bring your own prayer mat to the Masjid.
- Come to the Masjid with Wudhu(Rest areas are suspected for easy transmission of COVID-19 )
- Musullees are requested to leave the Masjid complex immediately after the Jummah prayer
- NO Lunch will be provided.

Alhamdulillah, the elections were held on 08-Dec-2019. The election of the Executive Committee (9 Members) and Board of Trustees (5 Members) of the Islamic Center of Kent, WA has been completed. The month of Dhul Hijjah commenced on 13-Aug-18 (Monday) and Insh’Allah, Yaumul Arafah (9th Dhul-Hijjah) will be on 21-Aug-2018 (Tuesday) & Eid-ul-Adha 1439 AH / 2018 (10th Dhul-Hijjah) will be on 22-Aug-2018 (Wednesday).May Allah (SWT) make this blessed month an opportunity to ask for forgiveness, increase in good deeds, charity, prayers, fasting and gain closeness to Allah (SWT). Zakath-ul-Fitr for this year has been determined as $10.00 per member of the family. It is recommended that you distribute this directly to the needy yourself. For those who need help distributing their Zakat-ul-Fitr : please deposit your Fitra amounts in the specially designated box in the mens prayer area. We will be collecting Zakat-ul-Fitr in these boxes now through the night before Eid, insha allah. We request you to use this service as early as possible and not wait till the night before Eid. This will help us distribute the funds to the need before Eid Prayer.
